I really enjoyed my stay here. the light breakfast was a nice touch, and my little room had AC and an iron, which made my trip easier. There were two cozy spots to relax, a cute lounge area and a small garden where I unwound. The only thing I wished for was a reading lamp, but it was a minor detail and didn't take away from my overall experience. 😊

excellent access to nearby parks and iconic landmarks
During my stay last summer, I was really impressed with how close Bryant Park was, making it a perfect spot for a morning stroll, and the amazing convenience to Times Square allowed me to soak in the bright lights and bustling atmosphere without any hassle. For a solo traveler like me, the continental breakfast was a delightful bonus, adding to the charm of the friendly staff.

would book again
Great location for shopping, right by all the action. My room had a comfy bed and a sink, while the shared bathrooms were always spotless. Breakfast had tea, coffee, bagels, and more. Staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the 24-hour reception. Very budget-friendly for the area!

The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to nearby attractions. The staff is exceptionally friendly, always eager to assist with helpful recommendations.
The shared bathroom setup may not suit everyone.

The room was super tiny and kinda noisy. I could hear everything from outside, and the blinds were in bad shape letting in way too much light. I had to change rooms due to the noise, and honestly, the second one wasn't any better since it didn’t have AC. The shared bathrooms were ok, but definitely needed some updating. The bed was just comfortable enough, but overall, not a great experience with the room setup.

It was just a good match for a rapid stop in New York with definitely value for money. The shared bathroom was clean and modern, which was a nice surprise. Make sure to time your visits to the bathroom well to avoid any waits.

missingWrote a review on May 21cozy roomshared bathroomsloud doors
The Standard Single Room with Shared Bathroom is snug, but it checks the basic boxes for a solo traveler needing a place to crash. The shared bathrooms are sizeable, which is a plus when you need to freshen up after a long day.
Unfortunately, the experience is marred by a few issues. The bedroom doors slam pretty loudly, so if you value your beauty sleep, be prepared for sudden loud sounds throughout the night. There’s no reading lamp, which would’ve been nice for winding down with a book. The hallway appeared a bit cluttered with cleaning trolleys, adding an untidy touch to the otherwise simple setup. Also, the lack of tight security made me wary. walking in unchecked late at night felt like asking for trouble.

I really appreciated the location of Americana Inn. It’s right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore. The staff was friendly and helpful. I got great tips for local spots to check out. The room was clean and had a flat-screen TV, which was nice. The free coffee in the morning was a bonus. However, the noise from the street was hard to ignore. Trucks and sirens made it tough to sleep before midnight. The shared bathrooms could use more frequent cleaning. I also felt that the room lacked some basic amenities like a bedside table. Overall, good for a budget stay with potential improvements needed in comfort.
